BOSTON--()--ETQ, the leading provider of quality management solutions, today announced it has appointed Human Resources (HR) and Employee Engagement expert Michelle Roccia as Chief People Officer. As ETQ continues to scale rapidly and establish itself as an employer of choice in the Boston technology landscape, Roccia will oversee all Employee Engagement activity, including talent acquisition, people management, corporate culture and organizational design.

Roccia comes to ETQ from talent acquisition firm WinterWyman, where she spent more than a decade in executive roles, including Executive Vice President of Employee Engagement and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Prior to that, Roccia held executive HR positions at technology companies Authoria and Centive. She started her HR career at Kurzweil Applied Intelligence.

Roccia’s experience defining optimal organizational structures for high-growth companies, and designing the employee programs to support that growth, are ideally matched to ETQ’s needs at this stage of the company’s lifecycle. ETQ continues to aggressively hire across all functions, including sales, product development and professional services.

“ETQ is growing quickly,” said ETQ CEO Rob Gremley. “To deliver on our mandate to provide superior quality management solutions to more organizations worldwide, we need to find, nurture and retain the best people in the industry. Michelle has a track record of attracting and developing top talent with her cutting-edge approach to Employee Engagement and People Operations, and we are ecstatic to have her on board. I am very confident that she will accelerate ETQ’s continued growth.”

Roccia attended Bentley University and has a certification in Human Resource Management. She has been certified as a Professional Coach through iPEC Coaching and an Employee Engagement Specialist through the Employee Engagement Group.

“I was attracted to ETQ because it is a place where I can do the two things that I love the most — introduce world-class programs designed to drive business performance, and create a culture where people love coming into work every day,” said Roccia. “Rob and the rest of the leadership team have already set a great foundation, and I am very eager to support ETQ’s continued corporate success by fully enabling our team’s success.”
