It will see NBC News implement Taboola Feed on desktop, tablet, mobile web and mobile app to increase user engagement and revenue. The deal builds on an existing relationship between Taboola and NBC News, which have already been working together for five years.
Under the relationship, NBC News, launched Taboola Feed, a seamlessly integrated infinite feed that provides readers with personalized content for a more engaging experience. Similar to how people experience social networks, Taboola Feed encourages audiences on the open web to stay engaged on a publisher’s site by scrolling through a personalized stream of content, video, and other experiences the user might be interested in discovering next.
NBC News will also use Taboola Newsroom’s insights and A/B testing capabilities, providing editorial teams with actionable insights and data about content performance in real time. Editors and writers will now be able to test the performance of headlines, thumbnails and story placements in real time and discover topics their users are most interested in reading about to create editorial best practices over time. The Newsroom platform also provides editors with unique insights on trending topics from Taboola’s publisher network.
Additionally, NBC News will use Taboola’s Audience Exchange within Taboola Feed to strategically manage and optimize the flow of traffic across sister sites and partners.
