BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--US Racing (https://www.usracing.com), an international online horse racing service, today provided the morning line odds for the 144th Preakness Stakes to be held at Pimlico Racecourse on Saturday, May 18th.
Improbable, who finished fourth place at the Kentucky Derby, is the morning line favorite at 5-2 to win the 2019 Preakness Stakes with Triple Crown winning jockey, Mike Smith.
There will be no chance for a Triple Crown champion in 2019 because Country House, who won the 145th Kentucky Derby as a 65-1 longshot after the contested disqualification of Maximum Security, will not race at Pimlico due to what his connections say is a cough.
The Preakness Stakes will be televised on NBC with updated information provided by US Racing.
