Eulen America Refutes Union Campaign Involving Miami International Airport (MIA)

MIAMI--()--Eulen America announced today that the company firmly believes the opinions of a few individuals circulating in the news media—pushed by a union using false attacks to drum up support—do not reflect the true opinion of its more than 1,600 employees at MIA. All Eulen America employees are treated with dignity and respect and the Eulen Group fully supports its employees worldwide who have decided to unionize, as well as those here in the United States who already have freely chosen not to do so. In light of the recent false allegations against the company, Eulen America publicly reaffirms full commitment to its employees, business partners, and the community here in Miami, and throughout its organization.

“As part of Spain’s Eulen Group, our dedication to safety and compliance is in our corporate DNA—globally as well as locally—and we take our full compliance with the Miami-Dade County Living Wage Ordinance and all other applicable regulations and laws very seriously,” stated Xavier Rabell, CEO, Eulen America. “All our aviation employees at MIA are paid at least $16.40 hourly without exception, in accordance with the Living Wage Ordinance,” continued Rabell.

The company strives to help its multiple airport partners improve common facilities and equipment for our employees.

In response to accusations by a union which is putting politics before the facts in an effort to drum up support, Eulen America has no restrictions on necessary breaks or access to hydration stations, and retaliatory practices are strictly prohibited.

“Eulen America cares deeply about our workforce and we are firmly committed to providing them with a work environment and procedures that meet or exceed industry standards,” added Rabell.

Eulen America is a subsidiary Grupo EULEN, a pioneer in outsourcing general business services with more than 7,000 clients in 14 countries, more than 86,000 employees, more than 60 services in the market, and sales above 1.5 billion euros in 2016.
