NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--“America’s Got Talent” singer and guitarist Sal Gonzalez is supporting his fellow veterans by performing at an HSTpathways Wounded Warrior Project fundraiser on Thursday, May 16 at the Opry Backstage Grill in Nashville, TN. The event will help the latest generation of injured service members on their journeys to recovery.
Gonzalez has a new single titled “When We Go Round” released earlier this month and another new single titled “Heroes” to be released as an EP on May 24. Gonzalez is famous for his 2014 performance on Season 9 of “America’s Got Talent.” The Iraq war veteran has performed with numerous GRAMMY award-winning artists and opened for some of today’s biggest selling country music artists. He was honored at the White House in 2017.
“Wounded Warrior Project has been a gigantic part of my recovery since returning home. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help them by being a part of this event,” said Gonzalez.
All money raised (100% NET) will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project. Food and beverages will be available, along with raffles and a silent auction.
Presale tickets are free and now available online. Tickets also will be available at the door of the event.
