DARIEN, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--m+ funds, a leading defined outcome investment manager, announced today the additions of Jennifer Grancio and Jim Wiandt to the firm’s advisory board. In this capacity, Ms. Grancio and Mr. Wiandt will help guide the firm’s rapid expansion, as a large universe of investors continue to seek passive portfolio strategies that provide defined outcomes.
Ms. Grancio brings two decades of experience in the ETF industry as a former founder and executive in BlackRock’s iShares business, where she spent over 18 years. She previously led all the US and European distribution efforts for iShares, and acted as Global Head of Marketing and Partnerships for BlackRock’s index business. In addition to her current role at m+ funds, Jennifer is active in advancing women in leadership, and in youth and health nonprofits. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her MBA from Columbia Business School.
Mr. Wiandt is the founder of ETF.com, the world's leading authority on exchange-traded funds. In 2001, he started IndexUniverse.com, creating the central hub for information and analysis on indexes, index funds and ETFs. While at IndexUniverse.com, he launched and led the Inside ETFs conference and ETF.com’s data business, until its sale in 2015 to FactSet. Subsequently he oversaw the sale of the ETF.com’s publications business to the CBOE and its events business to Informa. He is currently President of Donostia Ventures and serves as an ETF industry consultant and investor. Mr. Wiandt received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University.
“We’re thrilled to be adding Jennifer and Jim to our Advisory Board,” said Oscar Loynaz, Founder and Partner at m+ funds. “They offer unique and unparalleled industry experience, and we look forward to their guidance as the adoption rates of defined outcome funds continue to increase.”
