Zoetis Named a Top Company for Executive Women by NAFE

The National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) Recognizes Zoetis for its Commitment to the Advancement of Women

PARSIPPANY, N.J.--()--Zoetis Inc. (NYSE: ZTS) today announced that it has been named one of the 2019 Top Companies for Executive Women by the National Association for Female Executives. This honor recognizes U.S. corporations where there is a strong focus on best practices that demonstrate effectiveness in moving women to senior ranks. This is the first year that Zoetis has earned a spot on this prestigious list.

“We are honored to be named one of NAFE’s Top Companies for Executive Women for the first time,” said Roxanne Lagano, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer and Communications at Zoetis. “We strive to create a workplace where diverse backgrounds and perspectives are valued, and colleagues are empowered to take on challenges and experiences that help them reach their career goals. Our commitment to women’s advancement is illustrated across our executive ranks and in the development opportunities we offer to all our colleagues.”

NAFE ranked Zoetis most highly for its workforce profile as well as its advancement programs for female employees, including mentoring, employee resource groups, leadership development programs and work-life balance initiatives. Zoetis’ commitment to women starts with the company’s diverse, nine-member executive team, which includes four women. In their roles, they lead Zoetis’ Research and Development, U.S. Operations, Business Development and Strategy, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources and Communications teams.

The NAFE Top 70 Companies for Executive Women, released today, is featured in the April/May issue of Working Mother. The full report on this year’s winners is listed here.

The application tracks and examines how many employees have access to programs and policies that promote advancement of women and how many employees take advantage of them, plus how companies train managers to help women advance.
