Oracle Applications Users Group Presents On-premises and Cloud Education at COLLABORATE 19

ATLANTA--()--The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), an independent, member-led organization that maximizes users’ investment in Oracle and partner solutions, co-hosts the COLLABORATE 19: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community, an educational conference for Oracle business applications and database customers. Presented in partnership with the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG) and Quest Oracle Community (Quest), COLLABORATE 19 takes place April 7-11 at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

COLLABORATE 19 attendees can build a personalized educational agenda from more than 1000 sessions that have been reviewed and selected by Oracle users for Oracle users. Functional and technical education aims to help attendees maximize on-premises solutions, evaluate a path to the cloud and optimize business in the cloud. The COLLABORATE 19 – OAUG Forum features eight tracks: E-Business Suite; On-Prem EPM/Hyperion; EPM Cloud; Data Science & Analytics; ERP Cloud; SCM Cloud; CX Cloud; and Personal Growth & Leadership.

The COLLABORATE 19 – OAUG Forum also provides numerous networking opportunities where the Oracle users community can advance professional connections and exchange ideas, including the Women in Technology panel discussion and luncheon; OAUG Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings; the Analytics, BI, Big Data and EPM/Hyperion Reception; and the Emerging Leaders Networking event. The OAUG’s Geographic (Geo) groups host a Network Community Service Build-A-Bike team-building activity on Sunday to construct bicycles for clients of Haven for Hope, an organization that cares for people experiencing homelessness in San Antonio.

Oracle product teams, developers and executives are scheduled to present education and Oracle Roadmap sessions, facilitate hands-on labs, participate in SIG meetings, conduct demonstrations in the exhibit hall and meet one-on-one with attendees throughout the week. Oracle’s Steve Daheb, senior vice president, Oracle Cloud, will explore personalized pathways to the cloud during his keynote presentation on Monday, April 8.

“The exchange of ideas and lessons learned from peers and experts who have been part of real-world Oracle projects is so impactful. The topics are practical, timely and focused on helping attendees find solutions,” said Douglas Manning, president of the OAUG. “In addition, forward-looking sessions bring clarity and guidance to those attendees who are involved in establishing their organization’s strategic direction.”
