Foundation Software Challenges Contractors: Do You Really Know Your Vendors?

VP of Business Development, Steve Antill, to Speak at ASA SUBExcel on the Technology Questions You Should Be Asking

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio--()--Foundation Software, developer of software, services and education for construction businesses announced recently that their vice president of business development, Steve Antill, will be speaking at the American Subcontractors Association (ASA), SUBExcel 2019, which will take place March 6-9 in Nashville, TN.

Antill’s presentation, titled “5 Questions You Never Ask a Technology Partner But Need To,” is aimed at contractors looking to invest in construction technology and asks the question: do you really know who your vendors are?

“I think the presentation is effective because contractors aren’t always inclined to think about who their technology partners are or why the relationships they have with them are important,” Antill says, “But with all of the consolidation in our industry over the last decade or so, it’s important to make sure you’re choosing a vendor that’s going to be around for the next five to ten years — and that whatever goals they have align with your own.”

Antill joined Foundation in 1999 while studying marketing at the University of Akron. He built up his knowledge of Foundation’s flagship construction accounting application as a support representative and software trainer before moving into sales. As one of the company’s first regional sales managers, Antill led its West Coast office for over nine years, where his on-the-ground work made California one of the company’s largest regions today. He returned to Foundation’s Cleveland headquarters in 2011 as director of sales before being promoted to the vice president of business development in 2017.
