LeanTaaS to Share Customer Insight on Creating a Data-Driven Culture in Healthcare at HIMSS 2019

MultiCare Health and Saint Peter’s University Hospital Join LeanTaaS President to Speak on Improving Healthcare Operations

SANTA CLARA, Calif. & ORLANDO, Fla.--()--LeanTaaS, Inc., a Silicon Valley predictive analytics and machine learning company that specializes in improving healthcare operations, will showcase its cloud-based platform to increase patient access, decrease wait times, reduce healthcare delivery costs, and improve revenue at the 2019 HIMSS Global Conference and Exhibition. The event is being held through Feb. 15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

At HIMSS, LeanTaaS will illustrate how leading healthcare providers have created a data-driven culture that dramatically improves operational efficiency through advanced data science. The company will demonstrate its solution in Booth 8051 and present real-world results in two presentations:

“Improving OR utilization and surgeon access to OR time can significantly improve financial results for hospitals and health systems, increase patient access, and facilitate surgeon recruitment and retention,” said Agrawal. “But it’s not always easy to adopt innovation and change. As a surgeon and executive, Dr. Meyer’s unique perspective will be insightful for this audience.”

Both MultiCare Health and Saint Peter’s University Hospital have deployed the LeanTaaS iQueue for Operating Rooms solution to effect data-driven changes to each system’s approach to capacity management. iQueue for Operating Rooms is a lightweight, cloud-based SaaS solution that digitally transforms core operational processes in ORs. The solution unlocks OR capacity so more cases can be performed in the same number of ORs without extending business hours. On average, health systems deploying the solution have seen an increase of $300,000 per OR per year.

“I’m looking forward to sharing how Saint Peter’s University Hospital leveraged EHR data to improve OR access using mobile and web technologies, increased accountability with surgeon-centric metrics and reporting, and helped surgeons better understand the “why” behind OR metrics,” said Dr. Tannenbaum.

Agrawal concluded, “There is a lot of exciting and positive momentum at LeanTaaS right now, and our goal for HIMSS is to share that message with the rest of the industry.”
