Wisconsin Virtual Academy Opens Enrollments for 2019-2020 School Year

MCFARLAND, Wis.--()--Wisconsin Virtual Academy (WIVA), an online public charter school authorized by the McFarland School District, is now accepting enrollments for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.

Delivered entirely online, WIVA offers students and families a high-quality education option, while accessing a robust online curriculum and attending live virtual classes taught by Wisconsin-licensed teachers.

WIVA provides an approach to learning that helps prepare students for post-graduation college or career success.

Students receive the support and resources needed to pursue and reach their academic goals. Advanced independent learners are able to progress at an accelerated pace, while those who find content and concepts more challenging can receive additional live instruction and support to ensure academic success.

All WIVA students are offered a full course load in the core subjects of math, science, language arts, history, art and music. Electives include world languages in middle and high school, as well as high school honors and AP® courses. WIVA also offers student clubs, field trips, social outings, and other activities to foster a sense of school community, including an in-person graduation ceremony in the spring.

WIVA is available tuition-free to students in kindergarten through 12th grade who reside anywhere in the state of Wisconsin. Families are encouraged to attend an in-person or online information session hosted by the school.
