Kansas Virtual Academy Now Enrolling Grades K-6 for 2019-2020 School Year

OLATHE, Kan.--()--Kansas Virtual Academy (KSVA), a tuition-free online public school program of the Spring Hill Unified School District No. 230, is now accepting enrollment applications for the 2019-2020 academic year. KSVA serves students statewide in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Delivered entirely online, KSVA offers an alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar education. KSVA combines online instruction, rigorous curriculum and the support of state-certified teachers to provide a personalized learning experience for each student.

“At Kansas Virtual Academy, our mission is to help students discover, develop and achieve their maximum learning potential,” said Cassie Barton, head of school at KSVA. “Our teachers are dedicated to helping all students become lifelong learners, and our online platform lets us meet the unique needs of Kansas families in search of quality education options.”

Students are offered a full course load in the core subjects of math, science, English language arts, history, art and music. KSVA’s teachers facilitate live, interactive online classes, allowing students to enjoy a safe learning environment anywhere with an internet connection. In addition to scheduled classes, teachers communicate regularly with students and families via phone and email in order to ensure they are supported yet challenged.

Students choose online school for a variety of reasons, including advanced learning, a bullying-free environment, and the ability to support extracurricular pursuits or medical needs. KSVA’s online platform gives students the opportunity to pursue their academic goals in a supportive environment and with appropriate resources for their learning style.
