BioForward Represents Wisconsin’s Biohealth Industry with Diverse Board of Innovation Leaders

BioForward names biohealth industry leaders to Board of Directors

MADISON, Wis.--()--BioForward, Wisconsin’s state association representing over 200 biohealth member companies, announced three additions to this year’s Board of Directors. The board represents many facets of the state’s diverse biohealth industry and focuses on advocating for Wisconsin’s strengths in development of integrated health solutions and academic research.

“Wisconsin’s biohealth industry continues to expand, with over $47.8 Billion in overall economic output and increasing career opportunities, which demonstrates our state’s role as a hub for medical innovation,” said Lisa Johnson, CEO of BioForward. “We’re seeing incredible growth and investment in Wisconsin’s biohealth industry and sought new board members who could advance our key goals, and the continued growth of BioForward members in 2019.”

Newly elected Board Members for the 2019-21 term include:

  • Jon Denissen, Senior Vice President, PPD
  • Carey Case, Site Director API, Alcami
  • Garrett Petersen, Principal/Chief Strategy Officer, Yahara Software

“Our 2018 Economic Impact Report demonstrated the importance and impact of Wisconsin’s biohealth industry and why we advocate on its behalf,” said Nicolas Paris, Chairman of BioForward and CEO of Gilson. “BioForward’s Board of Directors has assembled expertise that will be focused on targeted initiatives that, I believe, will launch our biohealth industry to even greater success.”
