TAIPEI, Taiwan--()--The Christmasland, running from Nov. 16 through Jan. 1, 2019, has returned to New Taipei City with Taiwan’s biggest 3D projection mapping light shows, four dreamy lighting bridges, and “The Pool,” an interactive installation art by New York-based artist Jen Lewin.

Under the theme “Space and Planet,” the city government uses rose-golden colored lights to decorate this year’s Christmasland, turning the city into a dreamy land. Some highlights include the “Four Christmas Dreamlike Overpasses,” which features four brides decorated with lights of different colors, including “Golden Star Bridge,” “Pink Star Bridge,” “Blue Light Star Bridge,” and “Galaxy Star Bridge.”

“The Pool,” an interactive light-and-shadow art installation created by notable artist Jen Lewin, will be displayed for the first time in Taiwan. Moreover, "Fantasy Planet," a large hemisphere-shaped artwork composed of more than 100,000 LED lights, will present light show half-hourly from 17:30 to 22:00 every day.

In addition to the beautiful lighting, the Christmasland also offers Planet Container Market, amusement facilities, and art installations, as well as a wide range of activities.
