National Online Registries Motor Carrier Information Exchange Video Wins Gold MarCom Award

Video honored for outstanding creative achievement

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--National Online Registries, Inc. (NOR) received a Gold MarCom Award in the Informational Web Video category for a demonstration of its Motor Carrier Information Exchange (MCInfo) application. MarCom Awards recognize outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design, and production of marketing and communications materials and programs.

Approximately 6,000 entries were submitted from throughout the United States, Canada, and dozens of other countries. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

Using MCInfo, insurers can submit required motor carrier insurance documentation directly to state regulatory agencies online. MCInfo speeds the insurance submission process and increases transparency by providing visibility and tracking through the approval process.

The system demonstration video is available on the MCInfo website at https://mcinfo.org/MCInfo/about#demo-video. The video was developed to acquaint new users with changes to the document filing process, in support of a website redesign unveiled in December 2017.

“The NOR team modernized the MCInfo system and determined a video is a great way to teach users about these important upgrades,” said Laura Johnson, General Manager of NOR. “We are honored that Marcom recognizes the value of our demo video in showing users how the new MCInfo can simplify the process of filing insurance documentation.”

Throughout 2018, NOR has continued to modernize MCInfo’s look and feel, improved usability to speed up the filing process for insurance users, and updated insurance form information to accelerate the review process for states. The most recent release upgraded the system’s reporting features to make it easier for users to locate the exact information they need. NOR is also expected to introduce an enhanced enrollment interface for new users that will make it quicker and easier for insurance companies to sign up and begin using MCInfo.

Last year nearly 500 insurance companies used MCInfo to submit their insurance forms. More information is available at www.mcinfo.org.
