CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FPL, a global professional services firm specializing in providing executive search, as well as leadership, compensation, and management consulting solutions to a select group of related industries, announced today that Jeffrey Hauswirth has joined the firm as Vice Chairman, based in their Toronto office.
“As Vice Chairman, Jeff will serve in a number of key leadership roles for the firm,” said William J. Ferguson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ferguson Partners. “First, he will be responsible for building the firm’s Canadian platform and, more broadly, its global footprint. He will also serve as a strategic leader, partnering with our management team globally to help refine and implement the strategy for FPL’s overall business and launch unique service offerings that will differentiate our firm in the marketplace.”
Prior to joining Ferguson Partners, Hauswirth spent 25 years at Spencer Stuart, a leading global executive search firm. Most recently, he was a Partner in their Toronto office with responsibilities for the Real Estate and CEO & Board Practices. He also served on the firm’s Board of Directors twice. In his career, Hauswirth has also played a role in building international platforms in Canada and the Asia Pacific region.
Hauswirth sits on the Boards of Second Harvest, a Toronto-based food rescue and redistribution charitable organization, and Upopolis, a private social utility that connects young hospital patients to their family, friends and school network to alleviate stress and isolation, while in medical care.
A graduate from the University of Guelph, Hauswirth holds a B.A., Economics. He is also a graduate of the Canadian Junior College in Lausanne, Switzerland.
