TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wedge Holdings Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:2388) (Headquarters: Chuo-Ku, Tokyo, Managing Director and CEO: Mr. Tatsuya Konoshita) held a trading card game event (below written as TCG) of “Haikyu!! Volley Ball Card Game!!” at “5th Hanoi Book Fair” in Vietnam on 6 - 7 October 2018.
This event was sponsored by Hanoi City Information and Communication Company, and is the largest book exhibition and sales event which has been held in October every year.
In this exhibition, we had a booth to introduce TCG "Haikyu!! Volleyball Card Game !!" (Vietnamese version). The visitors of our booth had chances to try the games and join the lottery to win exclusive goods. We had about 1,200 visitors, with 46 peoples tried the games, 813 fliers being distributed and 300 people participated in the lottery. We also had 11,000 Facebook reach. The booth achieved a great success and was crowded with many visitors from the opening time to the closing time.
In addition, the characters and products panels displayed by us attracted many attentions which led to a lot of people taking pictures and shared their posts on SNS. There were also a lot of TCG players who were pleased to have a fight with strong Japanese duelists (players). It ended up a very fulfilling event.
As we already announced before, our company is developing sales of “Haikyu!! Volley Ball Card Game” throughout South East Asia in Vietnam as the first step. We will continue to warm up the contents industry through such events as well as actively act as the bridge for content holders and users.
* “Haikyu!! Volley Ball Card Game!!” was released under the trade name “Haikyu!! Vobaca” by TOMY COMPANY,LTD. in Japan. The product introduced in this event is the Vietnamese version.
