Jeanine Hightower-Sellitto Joins Gemini as Managing Director, Operations

Hightower-Sellitto Oversees Gemini’s Institutional Onboarding and Expanding Client Services Team

NEW YORK--()--Gemini Trust Company, LLC (Gemini), a New York trust company that is a licensed digital asset exchange and custodian, announced today that Jeanine Hightower-Sellitto has joined as Managing Director of Operations to lead the Client Services Team, which is focused on enhancing the Gemini platform experience for institutional investors. Ms. Hightower-Sellitto joined Gemini on Sept. 10, 2018, and reports directly to Gemini President Cameron Winklevoss.

Ms. Hightower-Sellitto most recently served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at NASDAQ subsidiary International Securities Exchange (ISE), an operator of three electric options exchanges. As COO, Ms. Hightower-Sellitto was responsible for the ISE office and ISE business management during the organization’s transition to NASDAQ, which acquired ISE in June 2016 for $1.1B. Ms. Hightower-Sellitto also held leadership roles in business development, product management, and relationship management during her 13-year tenure at ISE.

Gemini recently became the first licensed exchange in the world to offer hot wallet insurance for custodied digital assets, which is in addition to the FDIC insurance already offered for fiat funds custodied by Gemini.
