MedMen Hires Global Supply Chain Veteran as Its New Chief Operating Officer

Ben Cook has 15 years of experience running logistics for retail giants Sam’s Club, Target and Apple.

LOS ANGELES--()--MedMen Enterprises Inc. (“MedMen” or the “Company”) (CSE: MMEN) (OTCQB: MMNFF) (FSE: A2JM6N) today announced the hiring of Ben Cook as its new chief operating officer. Cook is an accomplished global supply chain executive with 15 years of experience executing and managing logistics for retail and consumer brands including Sam’s Club, Target and Apple.

Cook has extensive experience leading omnichannel distribution, global market expansion and supply chain optimization. He has executed extremely complex strategies for global, high-growth companies and joins MedMen as the Company quickly expands its reach in high growth, state-sanctioned marijuana markets. The Company is one of the leading retailers in California, Nevada and New York, and recently made acquisitions in Florida, Illinois and Arizona.

Cook was most recently senior vice president of supply chain for Sam’s Club in Bentonville, Arkansas. There, he led a turnaround of the company’s supply chain with a focus on increasing revenue, reducing the total cost and increasing product availability. Previously, he was the senior vice president of global inventory management and logistics for Target Stores, where he developed a multiyear logistics and inventory management strategy focused on delivering high on shelf availability, inventory reduction and speed to guest. Cook also served as the director of logistics and supply chain strategy for Apple, where he developed an omnichannel distribution strategy to increase revenues in the U.S. and Latin America. Earlier, he held similar roles with Kimberly-Clark and The Home Depot.

Cook holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. He also served in the United States Army, Special Operations Forces.
