BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Noble, the entertainment experience platform that streamlines concession operations for venues and enhances experiences for guests, today, announced that the Boch Center has chosen the Noble digital ordering solution to allow guests to order and pay for food and drinks with their smart phones.
A purpose-built app for the entertainment industry, Noble serves both guests and a variety of entertainment venues. For guests, Noble offers the Noble Ordering System, which provides users with a digitized menu of the venue’s items where they view and place their order. Venue staff fulfills the order guided by a printed ticket and notifies guests when their order is ready. Guests then receive an alert that their order is ready for pickup or on its way for delivery, which is dictated by the venue. At the discretion of the venue, guests even have the ability to pre-order (as soon as a new show goes on sale, from any location) and have their items ready upon arrival or order on-demand.
For venues, Noble offers the Venue Management Suite, which gives venues the ability to manage their system. The Venue Portal is an online site that allows venues to customize their menu with specific images and prices, provides real-time inventory management and full reporting of sales and disbursements.
The Boch Center, which includes the iconic Wang and Shubert Theatres, needed a simple and efficient concession operations solution in order for their guests to spend more time in the theatre and less time waiting in line for food and drinks, which is a common challenge for entertainment venues. By using Noble, the Boch Center allows guests to manage their time and truly immerse themselves in the theatre experience, while increasing efficiency and proceeds for the venue because of the streamlined ordering process.
“We are always looking for new ideas and technology to help grow our business and using Noble has modernized our in-venue experience,” said Josiah A. Spaulding, Jr., President & CEO, Boch Center. “A digitized process is what consumers expect today and the Noble platform is the easiest, most effective to use in the field and has not only made ordering simple for our guests allowing them to enjoy their time in the theatre but it has also driven revenue for us by increasing the volume of our concession business.”
Whether it is American Girl Live, Joan Baez, Nine Inch Nails, Celtic Thunder, Rock of Ages, Carlos Vives or the Boston Comedy Blowout, the Wang and Shubert Theatres are serving all types of entertainment seekers and are seeing the benefits of digital ordering from venues within the Noble network.
“Noble is thrilled to expand our modern digital ordering solution to performing arts and theatre venues. This is another major step in expanding our network of various entertainment venues who are recognizing the unparalleled value of joining the Noble platform,” said Varun Pathak, CEO, Noble. “Together, Noble and the Boch Center will provide guests at the Wang and Shubert Theatres with a world class in-venue digital ordering solution that not only increases speed of service, but significantly increases food and beverage revenues, all while delighting guests and making for a more pleasant entertainment experience.”
Noble is standardizing the digital food and drink ordering experience by connecting entertainment seekers with local entertainment venues with a simple digital ordering solution. Noble’s entertainment experience platform allows in-venue ordering for guests so they can enjoy more of their time out and venues can benefit from the incremental revenue and operational efficiencies driven by the platform. Noble is available for both iOS and Android and works with all point of sale (POS) systems. For more information, please visit, www.getnoble.co or find us on Twitter @OrderWithNoble.
