NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alpha Vee Solutions, Inc. announced that it has partnered with American Century Investments in the creation of the American Century Quality Diversified International ETF (Ticker: QINT).
American Century collaborated with the team at Alpha Vee to develop The Alpha Vee American Century Quality Diversified International Equity Index. The index is designed to select securities of large and mid-capitalization international companies, primarily in developed markets outside the United States.
Designed as a core international holding, American Century Quality Diversified International ETF (QINT) will track the index of 300 to 500 securities.
The index methodology takes a deliberate approach that seeks to make the most of international equity exposure by dynamically adjusting allocations to growth and value to take advantage of prevailing market conditions.
The methodology begins with a universe of more than 1,100 international securities, applying a quality screen that seeks to eliminate low-quality companies by analyzing a wide variety of attributes: profitability, earnings quality, management quality, leverage, and earnings revisions. It then seeks to identify stocks that exhibit high-growth characteristics and attractive valuations. Growth characteristics are evaluated based on historical and expected growth, demonstrated profitability and momentum. Value characteristics include valuation metrics as well as earnings, cash flow and dividend yields. Allocations to growth- and value-oriented names are adjusted monthly based on prevailing market conditions.
“We are proud to announce this partnership with American Century. We worked closely with their team to ensure the index remained true to the core values of American Century in an effort to deliver an institutional-quality index that investors are accustomed to receiving from American Century and from Alpha Vee,” stated Moshik Kovarsky, CEO, Alpha Vee Solutions.
This index utilizes an “intelligent beta” approach that systematizes similar attributes that fundamental managers seeks to identify through research. This approach features exposure to high-quality companies, risk-aware construction and dynamic allocation designed to adapt to market conditions. It is an investment philosophy that American Century and Alpha Vee have a shared belief. Alpha Vee has created dynamic multi-factor indexes for risk-adjusted investment solutions for both public and private funds globally.
“Our goal in creating the fund in partnership with Alpha Vee is to apply our unique insights to solve common investment problems and help investors achieve their goals,” said Edward Rosenberg, senior vice president and head of ETFs for American Century. “All of our ETFs feature institutional-quality management that draws on the firm’s fundamental and quantitative expertise.”
