Code42 and Baylor University to Co-Host Webinar on How to Fast-Track Windows 10 Device Migration

MINNEAPOLIS--()--Code42, a leading data security company, announced that it will co-host a live complimentary webinar with Baylor University, a nationally ranked Christian research institution. The webinar — “Seven Questions to Answer Before Starting Device Migrations” — will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 1 p.m. CDT. The discussion will be led by Baylor’s Mike Gonzales, assistant director of system support, and Brad Hodges, senior analyst programmer, as well as Code42’s Steven Flores, systems engineer. Registration for the webinar is now open.

During the webinar, Baylor’s Gonzales and Hodges will review seven key questions that gauge a company’s readiness to fast-track a device migration program while reducing costs and user disruptions. The team at Baylor will talk about how it streamlined its Windows 10 migration process by:

  • Strategically scheduling migration phases to minimize productivity impacts.
  • Replicating user settings and profiles from one device to another to get users back to work faster.
  • Performing in-place and wipe-and-reload migrations to help maximize IT resources.

Recently, Code42 enhanced its Windows 10 Device Migration solution. A new restore-priority capability enables IT to migrate users’ most recently created files first to minimize user downtime and lost productivity. The capability maximizes the efficiency not only of Windows 10 OS migrations, but also device replacements and tech refreshes.
