JMeds Provides Four-Hour Med Equipment Delivery

FORT WORTH, Texas--()--J-Meds, Inc. and Kalos Health Services, LLC announced today that the companies have executed a definitive partnership agreement. The transaction represents the convergence of two experienced healthcare companies with the goal of providing high quality, affordable medical equipment and solutions to skilled nursing, rehabilitation, bariatric, and wound care facilities. The privately held company will operate under the brand name JMeds.

Since 1998, JMeds has helped customers in the long-term care industry by reducing time to treatment, reducing capital equipment costs, and reducing administrative burden. In partnership with Kalos, the company will continue to disrupt the market by providing a guaranteed 4-hour delivery anywhere in Texas and in late 2018, a cutting-edge online technology designed to revolutionize delivery and provide even better patient outcomes.

JMeds will be headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, with offices in five Texas locations including two in DFW, McAllen, Houston and San Antonio. Jerry Williams, CEO, will hold the same position in the new combined company. George Robertson and Joshua Robertson will serve as President/COO and EVP, respectively.

“My role with the new company will be as CEO. I’ve devoted my entire career to helping clients better care for their patients. My position will allow me to deepen relationships with our customers – people who have entrusted their business with us over the years,” said Jerry Williams. “I look forward to our new partnership and the implementation of processes and practices that will allow us to provide even stronger levels of service and equipment to our customers.”

“With more than 10,000 people in the U.S. turning 65 each day, the importance of providing compassionate and long-term care solutions has never been more important,” said George Robertson. “This is especially true in today’s LTCF environment where fragmentation, HR, paperwork, logistics, regulations and more are the norm.”

“The entire team, products and services, when combined, provide more end-to-end delivery of care and an unparalleled, bundled approach across the care continuum,” added Joshua Robertson.

With the partnership complete, the new company will soon provide extended wound care therapy, safe patient handling, infection control and prevention practices, pulmonary rehab, and bariatric care services statewide.
