CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kemper Corporation (NYSE: KMPR) announced today that before the markets open on Monday, July 30, 2018, Kemper will issue its second quarter 2018 earnings release and financial supplement and will also file its quarterly report on Form 10-Q with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”). Kemper also announced today that it estimates its second quarter 2018 results will include pre-tax catastrophe losses in the range of $42 million to $47 million. The company does not expect to recover any of these losses under its catastrophe reinsurance programs. The losses were related to more than 15 storms throughout the country and adversely impacted losses for both homeowners and auto lines.
