Dworak has joined the firm’s Tax, Employee Benefits, and Trusts and Estates practice group in Orange County. Dworak was most recently a partner at K&L Gates LLP. Since January 2018, Sheppard Mullin has added 21 lateral partners as well as opening a new office in Dallas.

Dworak has significant experience on a wide range of transactional tax matters, including partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, insolvency, compensation, international tax planning (both inbound and outbound) and complex controversy matters before the Internal Revenue Service and the Tax Court. Prior to K&L Gates, Dworak served as a senior attorney with the Large Business & International Division of the IRS Office of Chief Counsel. He received his B.S. from Northwestern University, his J.D. from Northwestern University, and his LLM from New York University.
