Citi Private Bank Adds Additional Senior Talent to New York Office in Continued Strategic Expansion

NEW YORK--()--Citi Private Bank announced today the appointments of Lance Bylow and Morgan Dever as Private Bankers, beginning in early August. Lisa Yang also joined the firm earlier this month as an Associate Banker. The new hires are the most recent in a string of high profile appointments for the New York team furthering the group’s strategic expansion. The firm has been adding senior private bankers, Investment Counselors, Capital Markets Advisors, Wealth Planners and Lending Specialists to the New York team to match client demand as the region saw a surge in new client acquisition and growth in business volumes. “I am delighted to welcome Lance, Morgan and Lisa to Citi Private Bank; all of whom are highly regarded by their clients. Lance Bylow joins as Managing Director and Private Banker. In this capacity, Mr. Bylow will work with business owners, senior executives, private equity and hedge fund principals, family offices, and endowments to access, analyze and address their comprehensive financial needs by delivering the capabilities of the Private Bank and Citigroup more broadly. He joins from U.S. Trust, where he held the role of Private Client Advisor. Prior to U.S. Trust, Mr. Bylow held roles at Bessemer Trust and Barclays. Mr. Bylow holds an M.B.A. from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an M.S. in Accounting from DePaul University, and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences from Northwestern University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; the New York State Society of CPAs where he serves on the Family Office Committee; the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners; and the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County. Mr. Bylow is a board member of the Attorneys for Family Held Enterprises and sits on the Northwestern University Leadership Circle’s New York Regional Board.

Morgan Dever joins the firm as Senior Vice President and Private Banker. In this role, Ms. Dever will provide comprehensive wealth management strategies to the firm’s clients based in the New York City metropolitan region. Previously, Ms. Dever served as Private Client Manager at U.S. Trust. Prior to her tenure at U.S. Trust, she helped drive the major Enterprise-wide strategic priorities at Bank of America. Ms. Dever holds a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University and is an associate board member of The Covenant House in New York City.

Both Mr. Bylow and Ms. Dever will be based in New York and report to Ms. Liu. Ms. Yang will also be based in New York and report to Sean Howard, Business Manager, Ultra High Net Worth – Metro New York, Citi Private Bank.
