TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Globalfaces Direct Inc. (“GFD”), the leading provider of outsourced fundraising solutions, has named Naseem Saloojee as its new Chief Executive Officer. Saloojee brings a wealth of experience in business growth, strategy and operations. He replaces founding CEO Peter Hwang, who led the commercialization of GFD as one of the fastest growing companies in the Not-for-Profit industry over the past five years. Hwang will be stepping into a role on GFD’s Board of Directors.
“Naseem’s business acumen and experience scaling a high-growth business makes him the ideal fit to lead Globalfaces into its next phase,” said Hwang. “I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished to-date and look forward to continuing to contribute to the mission of GFD as a member of the Board of Directors.”
Most recently, Saloojee was the Senior-Vice President of Sales and a member of the Executive Team at Top Hat, the leading teaching platform for university professors. In Saloojee’s four years at Top Hat, he guided the company to grow tenfold and helped it win numerous accolades (Techvibes’ Canadian Startup of the Year, Deloitte Fast50 and Profit500). Previously, Saloojee was a senior leader with global management consultancy McKinsey & Company. Saloojee has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to lead this great company and support its nonprofit partners,” said Saloojee. “With a strong team and offering market-leading services to its customers, Globalfaces is well positioned to continue to expand its reach and sustain its impressive trajectory.”
