BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Walter & Shuffain, P.C. recently announced the appointment of one of its shareholders, Angela Parziale, CPA, MST, to the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy. The board, consisting of five members appointed by the governor, oversees the administration of CPA licensure in the state of Massachusetts, including the CPA exam, license renewals, and claims against CPAs involving license revocation. Each board member serves a five-year term.
A Walter & Shuffain shareholder since 2013, Angela specializes in commercial and residential real estate and the restaurant and hospitality industries, servicing both financial and tax needs. She has served as treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Boston chapter of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) and treasurer of the CREW Educational Foundation. Angela is a past recipient of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MSCPA) Women to Watch Award for Emerging Leadership and the CREW Boston Achievement Award in Professional Services.
She received a master of science degree in taxation from Suffolk University and holds membership in multiple professional organizations, including CREW, NAIOP, REFA, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
