Telos Corporation Awarded $45 Million Contract to Modernize Army Communications Systems in Pacific Region

VoIP technology underpins mission critical systems

ASHBURN, Va.--()--Telos® Corporation, a leading provider of continuous security solutions and services for the world’s most security-conscious organizations, today announced that the company has been awarded a five-year, $45 million United States Army contract to support the migration and modernization of telephone communications systems throughout the entire Pacific region.

Telos will engineer, furnish, install, secure and test a turn-key solution for a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solution for US Army bases, camps, posts, stations and ports/piers located in the U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) theater of operations. The company will be responsible for replacing existing analog voice service exchanges and implementing Telephone Management Systems while also ensuring connectivity to the relevant Unified Call Managers. In addition, Telos will provide training on installed systems to the stakeholder staff.

The first year of the contract will focus on providing replication and relocation of Command, Control, Communication, Computer and Intelligence (C4I) systems and implementation of Unified Capability voice deliverable in support of a new Satellite Command (SATCOM) facility, Network Enterprise Center and Battalion Headquarters. Four optional years will focus on the US Army Network Enterprise Technology Command’s (NETCOM) prioritization for modernizing the legacy telephone communications systems to new UC Voice systems.

The delivery order was awarded by the US Army Contracting Command Rock Island (ACC-RI) under the Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2), Network Operations (NetOps) and Infrastructure Solutions Full and Open contract vehicle.
