High-end accelerometers are also deployed in stabilization systems with a working range of 2 g and a bias stability of less than 2 mg.
North America held the highest share of both high-end IMU and accelerometers in 2017. The primary demand for high-end inertial systems is observed in the maritime sector and the aircraft industry, for both commercial and defense purposes. The United States allocates the maximum budget for defense spending.
