A U.S. Army roundtable composed of recruiters and leaders of the veterans community will welcome and thank young men and women who are about to enter military service. They will answer questions about what these great Americans can expect in their new careers, the impact their decisions will have on their families and why America must always maintain a strong defense to protect the homeland from those who oppose freedom.

With international terrorism, instability in the Middle East and hostile regimes, the United States must rely on talented, disciplined and skilled young people to compose our All Volunteer Force and defend against these threats. Additionally, members of the U.S. military, the Guard and Reserves play a pivotal role in providing disaster relief and humanitarian assistance worldwide. The roundtable will also discuss career options and benefits that the U.S. military offers young people.
