K12 Takes Tuition-Free Online Public Schools on the Road this Summer with ‘The K12 Public School at Home Tour’

Multi-City Tour Kicks Off June 13 in Phoenix

HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--School might be out for the summer, but K12, the leader in tuition-free online public education, is taking advantage of the season to spread the word nationwide about its innovative programs. The “K12 Public School at Home Tour” kicks off on June 13 in Phoenix. It will continue to 12 additional markets on a cross-country mission to show parents how education options have advanced and can be personalized to better fit parents’ and students’ needs.

The interactive mobile unit features a colorful, inviting space with six distinctive areas designed to introduce parents and students to the programs, curricula and opportunities offered through a virtual, K12 program. Visitors will have the opportunity to test actual K12 lessons, take part in hands-on educational activities, have some fun with augmented reality and interact directly with local school administrators and educators.
