VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS) is pleased to announce the election of Brian Sambirsky, General Manager, Downstream Road Safety for Shell, as NETS Board Chairperson for 2018 and 2019. Sambirsky replaces Dane Bremer Director, Corporate Safety & Global Business Continuity for Liberty Mutual, following a successful two-year term. Shell has been a NETS board member company since 2012, with Sambirsky serving as their representative since 2015.
In his 23-year career, Sambirsky has held roles in Projects, Operations and HSSE. In his current role with Shell, he is accountable for supporting all Downstream Class of Business road safety needs. “Shell is very aligned with the NETS mission to advance road safety for employees, their family members and the communities where they live and work. I am honored to serve as the NETS Chair, and I look forward to working with the Executive Director and Board of Directors in the journey to zero road fatalities,” said Sambirsky.
