ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT) (“Perficient”), the leading digital transformation consulting firm serving Global 2000® and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, today announced that its digital agency, Perficient Digital, has won a 2018 Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) award from the Web Marketing Association (WMA) for innovative mobile application design and development on behalf of the Jackson Energy Authority (JEA).
The agency was honored in the Best Energy Mobile App category for a self-service app that works across iOS and Android platforms and allows JEA customers to access their accounts, pay bills, report power outages, and more – services that were available only by phone and mail, or by visiting one of the energy company’s customer locations. The JEA provides electric, gas, propane, water, wastewater disposal, and broadband to Jackson, Tenn.
“At Jackson Energy Authority, we pride ourselves on providing great customer service,” said Dale Justice, Systems Analyst, Management Information Systems at JEA. “The development of the JEA mobile app was a great step in keeping with that tradition. Through the app, we can communicate real-time information to our customers. Having this information available on a smartphone has afforded our customer base the opportunity to streamline their communications with JEA.”
The IAC Awards highlight outstanding achievement in online advertising across 96 industries and nine formats including newsletters, email, video, mobile promotions, and social media. IAC judges, comprised of professionals in the advertising and internet worlds, selected winners based on a submission’s creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, and use of the medium.
“We are extremely proud of the recognition from the Web Marketing Association for our work with the JEA, and we deeply appreciate receiving such high regard from the web development community represented by these awards,” said Grant Davies, Perficient Digital’s general manager. “Perficient Digital’s success is rooted in its ability to couple brilliant creative with the deep, broad technical expertise required for implementation. This IAC Award is further proof of our agency’s ability to deliver beautiful and effective customer experiences for our clients.”
