DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Millie Workman, Director of Training and Education at International Risk Management Institute, will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting of Women’s Energy Network (WEN) – North Texas Chapter on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at the Fort Worth Petroleum Club, 777 Main St., 40th Floor. Ms. Workman will be presenting on the topic entitled “The World in 2038 – a look forward at trends such as AI, nanotechnology, etc. and how they will affect us and risk management.”
Jennifer Bartkowski, CEO of Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting of Women’s Energy Network (WEN) – North Texas Chapter on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the Dallas Petroleum Club, 2200 Ross Ave., 39th Floor. Ms. Bartkowski will be presenting on the topic entitled "Putting the G.I.R.L. in STEM."
Registration for both luncheon events will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the luncheon from noon-1:00 p.m. The cost to attend is $30 for members, and $45 non-members if paid in advance. Member and non-member registration the day of the event is $50, space permitting.
WEN will also be hosting a Social on May 16, 2018 at Winslow's Wine Café, 4101 Camp Bowie Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107 from 5:30-7:30. This event is free for WEN Members, and $15 for non-WEN Members.
The Women’s Energy Network – North Texas Chapter’s 2018 Annual Leadership Conference is planned for Thursday, June 21st at the Dallas Petroleum Club. The goal of the conference is to bring together successful women in energy to empower, enable, and enhance the careers of women in the industry. It will be a half-day event the afternoon of Thursday, June 21, and we expect ~100 attendees across all sectors of the oil & gas industry. The theme of this year’s conference is “Rising with the Tide: Excellence in the New Normal.”
