Recent Appointments at Raleigh Neurology Strengthens Clinical Research Community Outreach

Raleigh Neurology Associates Clinical Research Department professionals increase initiative offering community education outreach and innovative treatment options for neurological indications with recent promotions

RALEIGH, N.C.--()--The team at Raleigh Neurology Associates (RNA) Research Department is passionate about ramping up community education and outreach regarding clinical research as a viable option when treating neurological indications such as MS, Parkinson’s Disease, and Alzheimer’s Disease. No grass is growing under the feet of Beth Jackson and Tippi Hales of RNA Research. Not only do they oversee and provide exceptional personalized care for hundreds of patients enrolled in their studies, but they are increasing their outreach initiative to educate the Triangle area and beyond on clinical research.

To grow this initiative, Beth Jackson, RN, CCRC, MSCS, has been promoted to Outreach and Patient Education Manager for RNA Research. Beth holds several certifications in clinical research and is a Multiple Sclerosis Specialist, among other distinctions in the field. Beth holds current memberships with IOMSN, CMSC, ACRP and SCRS. Beth helps the clinical research industry by educating patients as well as the community on the importance of clinical trials and utilizing them as another treatment option. “Beth brings decades of experience working closely with support groups that educate patients and families about the benefits of clinical research, and ways to help them gain more knowledge about their conditions,” Sean Walsh, Director of Clinical Research, said.

To oversee the quality of care and service for participants and sponsors, Tippi Hales, RN, CCRC has been promoted to Quality Assurance Manager for RNA Research. Tippi holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Tippi holds current memberships with ACRP and SCRS. Tippi has held the position of Senior Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and has been coordinating CNS trials for over 19 years at RNA. “Commonly sought by pharmaceutical companies and renowned academic institutions to speak about the effects of Alzheimer’s Disease and other indications, Tippi has over 20 years of clinical trial experience to tailor a Quality and Training program to inspire our team to maintain inspection readiness at all times,” Sean Walsh said.
