TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Foresters Financial™, an international financial services provider committed to doing more for families and communities, has won an International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) 2018 Gold Quill Award of Excellence in the communication management/employee engagement category.
The Foresters campaign, titled More to our Core, was an employee-created video project designed to explain the organization’s core story to a diverse workforce across Canada, the United States and United Kingdom. The project exceeded engagement goals, with the video receiving 4,000 internal views. The campaign was led by Russell Evans, Assistant Vice President, Culture and Communications, and Brenda Piekos, Manager, Internal Communications.

For more than 40 years, IABC’s Gold Quill Awards have recognized and awarded excellence in strategic communication worldwide. The awards program is recognized as one of the most prestigious in the industry.
In total, the awards committee selected 258 entries as world class, with 94 entries earning an Excellence Award and 164 a Merit Award. Winners come from all over the world, with 13 countries represented in the award winners list. They represent a cross-section of public and private sector organizations, both large and small. The field was very competitive this year, with almost 700 entries reviewed by more than 250 evaluators.
