BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Following its third consecutive year of record growth Mintz Levin has awarded a special $1,000 bonus, above and beyond annual merit-based bonus compensation, to each of its 500-plus staff members in recognition of their contributions to the firm’s continued success. This is the second year in a row Mintz Levin staff will receive such bonuses.
“Our dedicated staff are the unsung heroes of our firm, working tirelessly to support the efforts of our attorneys and greatly contributing to the overall vibrancy and collaborative spirit of Mintz Levin,” said Managing Member Bob Bodian. “As the firm continues on its remarkable growth trajectory, we felt it was especially important to recognize and reward the invaluable role they play in enabling us to provide a consistently high level of service to our clients.”
Following the March 31 close of the firm’s fiscal year, Mintz Levin announced gross revenue grew to $403 million, revenue per lawyer rose to $895,000 and equity partner profits increased by 13 percent. The firm’s three-year profits and three-year revenue were up 35 and 30 percent, respectively, with three-year revenue per lawyer up 20 percent – percentage increases well outside current Big Law norms.
The firm credits this impressive growth, in large measure, to an innovative compensation structure, initiated at the beginning of the 2015 fiscal year, that has resulted in greater collaboration and expanded client relationships.
