Enclara Pharmacia Announces Strategic Partnership with Medline, Expands E3 Mobile Clinical Management Platform, Advances Integration of Essential Clinical Services

Enclara team presents full demo of pharmacy, DME and medical supply services at NHPCO MLC conference

PHILADELPHIA--()--Enclara Pharmacia (Enclara), the market leader in comprehensive pharmacy benefits management (PBM) services to the hospice community, announces a strategic partnership with Medline, a leading global medical supplies distributor and manufacturer. The strategic partnership provides Enclara E3 Mobile™ users the ability to order medical supplies for direct-to-patient shipping from Medline. The integration of Medline into the E3 Mobile solution represents the next phase of clinical service line integration, now providing a single point of entry that enables hospice nurses to order, track, and manage pharmacy, medical supplies, and durable medical equipment (DME).

Enclara will showcase this new feature and the entire suite of E3 Mobile capabilities at the NHPCO MLC conference, April 23-24, 2018, Washington Hilton, Washington, District of Columbia.

“The integration of Medline within E3 Mobile provides hospices with an unrivaled platform to transform patient management, optimize workforce productivity, and manage costs,” says Andy Horowitz, CEO, Enclara. “We are responding to the hospice community need to identify variances in clinical practice and cost, providing users with an expanded solution that offers increased visibility into clinical ordering. Our partnership with Medline not only meets this need, but also provides hospice organizations with a unified view of patient cost of care.”

E3 Mobile transmits orders directly to Medline fulfillment to allow for rapid direct-to-patient delivery of medical supplies, which results in decreased labor and delivery cost vs. central supply models. The solution streamlines processes, optimizes clinical workflow and enables hospice staff to seamlessly manage their patient needs. It’s a simpler, faster solution with an intuitive design that not only helps save nurse time by eliminating redundant entry, but also integrates with the hospice EMR to ensure consistent patient records across systems.

“We are very excited about our strategic partnership with Enclara. Medline is committed to delivering solutions that improve quality and decrease cost for our hospice customers,” says Chris Nave, senior vice president of sales for the homecare division at Medline. “We believe this partnership will accomplish those goals, and further solidify our respective organizations as market leaders and as innovators.”
