HyperX Gaming Peripherals Sweep Red Dot Awards for Product Design of Gaming Products

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif.--()--HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., today announced the HyperX Cloud Flight™ wireless gaming headset, HyperX Pulsefire Surge™ RGB gaming mouse and HyperX™ Alloy Elite RGB gaming keyboard as winners of the 2018 Red Dot Award in the product design discipline. This is the second consecutive year that HyperX has been recognized as a design leader in the gaming industry.

The HyperX Cloud Flight wireless gaming headset was launched earlier this year at CES 2018 and received the Red Dot Award for its product design. Comfort and convenience was key when designing the Cloud Flight, which offers up to 30 hours1 of battery life, the longest in the gaming market today, coupled with a closed cup design, 90-degree rotating ear cups, and HyperX memory foam, Cloud Flight also provides an immersive in-game audio experience with 50mm drivers and broadcasting at 2.4 GHz.

The HyperX Alloy Elite RGB gaming keyboard also won the Red Dot accolade for its distinctive offerings including NGenuity™ software that allows color customization up to three different lighting profiles that can be saved directly to the keyboard’s on-board memory for on-the-go lighting. The Alloy Elite RGB is built with a solid steel frame and offers dedicated media buttons, a large volume wheel along with quick access buttons for brightness, lighting effects, game mode, and pass-through USB 2.0 port.

Winning in the product design category, the HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB gaming mouse has five customizable native DPI settings that support up to 16,000 DPI, which can be set to each gamer’s individual style. The onboard memory allows users to customize lighting and effects and save up to three profiles for on-the-go gaming. With a 360-degree RGB light ring that can be customized through the HyperX NGenuity software. Advanced customization tools include sensor performance settings, macros and DPI settings.
