THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Compulink Business Systems, Inc., a recognized leader in EHR and Practice Management solutions for ophthalmology, will demonstrate the latest enhancements to Ophthalmology Advantage™ at this week’s ASCRS ♦ ASOA Annual Meeting. Among the key innovations being demonstrated:
- Artificial intelligence-enabled features which allow providers to document more quickly and be more productive. This includes its Differential Diagnosis Engine (DDx) which displays suggested diagnoses based upon the exam findings that are entered.
- Mobile Patient Engagement app allows for delivery of personalized content to the patient’s phone via a text message. Content can be targeted based on the patient’s appointment type and diagnosis. The app can be used to market products and services, along with delivering patient education. Surveys can also be sent to the patient’s phone and the feedback collected is automatically brought back into Advantage for analysis.
“We’re very excited about the role that artificial intelligence can play in reducing the documentation burdens on providers as well as helping to improve patient outcomes,” said Link Wilson, CEO and founder of Compulink. “Our DDx engine is one of several AI-enabled features in our EHR designed to automate the clinical workflow.”
Used by more than 10,000 providers nationwide, Compulink’s ONC 2015 Certified all-in-one system is designed to streamline practice workflow and drive efficiency and profitability. Features include EHR, Practice Management, ASC, Optical, RCM, analytics, patient engagement, telehealth, and audit protection.
Attendees at ASCRS 2018 can demo Ophthalmology Advantage at booth #1214 from April 14-16, 2018 in Washington, DC.
