PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Griswold Home Care, a national provider of services to help adults age in place, is rolling out a new tool to better assess caregivers and ensure the perfect match between providers and clients. ServiceFit® Healthcare, from Select International, will help Griswold further its goal of providing a deeper level of compassionate care while increasing employee/caregiver retention and reducing costs.
The ServiceFit Healthcare tool will be administered to job candidates upon application. It has been designed to find the “best fit” considering the behavioral profile of the candidate, resulting in less involuntary or voluntary turnover over time.
“This makes sense from both a quality of care and business standpoint. It ensures alignment with Griswold’s high standards of dignity and compassionate care and reduces resources spent on hires that are not a right fit for our organization,” said Matt Murphy, Griswold Home Care’s president and CEO.
ServiceFit Healthcare uses a short online assessment that fairly and reliably identifies whether employees will fit the culture of Griswold Home Care, and provides information about the candidate’s behavioral tendencies and preferences. It strives to answer questions (e.g. Is the candidate dependable? Accountable? Patient-focused?) that can’t be answered from reviewing a resume. The tool was developed based on years of research into evidence-based and job-relevant critical factors that predict success in patient-facing, caregiver positions across a wide variety of healthcare settings.
