Producers of BottleRock Napa Valley Revive Historic Festival in Sonoma’s Wine Country

GLEN ELLEN, Calif.--()--BottleRock Presents, producers of BottleRock Napa Valley, announces the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival at B.R. Cohn Winery, bringing music back to the winery after a three-year hiatus. Produced by BottleRock Presents, the 2018 Sonoma Harvest Music Festival will be held on September 22 and 23, on the grounds of the historic B.R. Cohn Winery in Glen Ellen, Sonoma County.

The Avett Brothers will headline the festival on Saturday, September 22, and The Head and the Heart will headline on Sunday, September 23.

“We are very happy to announce the return of music to B.R. Cohn Winery with the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival,” said Dave Graham, Partner, BottleRock Presents. “This intimate festival has a storied history in Sonoma wine country. No other music festival allows attendees to enjoy this level of musical talent in such an intimate venue, paired with Sonoma’s laid back hospitality, great wine and food. We essentially created this music festival for people who don’t like larger sized music festivals.”

In addition to The Avett Brothers on Saturday, September 22, the festival will also feature Lake Street Dive, Shovels & Rope, The Suffers and Royal Jelly Jive. Joining The Head and the Heart on Sunday, September 23 will be Rodrigo Y Gabriela, ZZ Ward, Rayland Baxter and Con Brio.

Situated in the picturesque Sonoma Valley, the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival at B.R. Cohn Winery reflects the essence of Sonoma wine country and features a much more intimate experience than most music festivals in the country. Highlighting the comfortable and approachable Sonoma County lifestyle, the Harvest Music Festival offers music, wine and food lovers an opportunity to experience a premium festival where every seat is steps from the artist in a beautiful, tucked away setting surrounded by stunning vineyard and mountain views.

“B.R. Cohn Winery has a longstanding music heritage and live music is in our DNA,” explained Pat Roney, President/CEO of Vintage Wine Estates, who purchased the winery in 2015. “Our dream was to bring music back to the estate in a big way, with world-class artists performing in our beautiful natural amphitheater overlooking Olive Hill Vineyard.”

In addition to great music in a beautiful setting, the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival showcases Sonoma County’s world renowned wine and food. Sonoma’s culinary stars, including the girl & the fig, Glen Ellen Star, Zazu Kitchen + Farm, Brewsters Beer Garden & Restaurant and Sonoma Mission Inn will be on hand providing incredible food to pair with B.R. Cohn wines. In addition, the regions celebrated craft brewers, including Lagunitas, Barrel Brothers, 101 North Brewing Co. and Sonoma Springs Brewing Co. will also be pouring their best during the two-day festival.
