FAIRFIELD, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cambridge announces the appointment of four new members of its board of directors. Joining the board of directors are Rick Boyles, Seth Miller, Kyle Selberg, and Jeff Vivacqua. The four new members join existing board of directors: Eric Schwartz, Executive Chairman; Amy Webber, President and CEO; and Dan Sullivan, Executive Vice President.

Boyles, Miller, Selberg, and Vivacqua have been serving on Cambridge’s Executive Council which was formed in 2014 to focus on strategic direction for Cambridge, and they will continue these responsibilities in addition to their roles as member of the board of directors.

Boyles, Senior Vice President, Finance and Human Resources and Chief Financial Officer, joined Cambridge in 2016 and brings more than 30 years of accounting and financial management experience to his role. As CFO, he is responsible for all financial and fiscal management, as well as providing oversight for human resources, project management, and continuous improvement. He is a member of Cambridge’s Corporate Relations Steering Committee and serves on the Cambridge and Continuity Partners Group Executive Committees. His previous professional experience includes serving as Chief Financial and Operations Officer for City Financial Corporation (CFC) in Indianapolis for the last 15 years and as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation prior to CFC. Boyles earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 27, 63, and 65 licenses. Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant.
Miller, Senior Vice President, Risk Management, General Counsel, and Chief Risk Officer, has been with Cambridge since 2008 and his primary focus has been on managing risk in an increasingly regulated environment. He manages all internal and external legal affairs for Cambridge along with overseeing the independent broker-dealer’s enterprise approach to risk management. Miller is responsible for Cambridge’s Legal, Risk Management, and Advocacy and Supervision Teams. His executive responsibilities also include working directly with the Compliance Department and providing legal and regulatory support to each Cambridge department. Miller’s legal specialization includes securities and investment advisory business, corporate governance, and litigation. His prior experience includes working for the international law firm, Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P. Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in finance and management from Iowa State University and a J.D. from the University Of Iowa College Of Law. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses and is licensed to practice law before the Iowa and Missouri state bars.
Selberg, Senior Vice President, Business Development and Chief Business Development Officer, joined Cambridge in 2008 and brings more than 30 years of financial industry experience to his executive leadership role. In addition to his oversight of the recruiting and transition services at Cambridge, Selberg also leads recruiting guidance and support for Cambridge’s independent branch managers across the country. He also contributes in a collaborative executive capacity to the company’s overall strategy for revenue growth, service, and profitability. Selberg’s industry background includes tenure as a Marketing Vice President with Principal Financial Group, and he also served as Vice Chairman of LIMRA’s Financial Services Committee. He earned an MBA with a focus in marketing from the University of Northern Iowa. Selberg is a CFP® professional and holds FINRA Series 6, 7, and 24 licenses, as well as the ChFC® and CLU® designations.
Vivacqua, Senior Vice President, Marketing, joined Cambridge in 2010 and brings over 20 years of industry experience to the firm. He has an active role in managing strategic issues for Cambridge that affect independent financial advisors including marketing, sales, operations, and business development, and is also responsible for developing strategic initiatives that address continuity, succession and acquisition needs for today's independent advisors. In addition, he oversees the development of national and regional conferences focused on advisors, Cambridge’s Knowledge Center, and a team focused on Cambridge’s advertising, branding, and communications strategies. Vivacqua earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Southern Illinois University and has certificates in Personal Financial Planning and Facilitative Leadership Training programs. He holds FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, 63, and 66 licenses and is a member of the Financial Services Institute (FSI).
