Deutsch has been at Blue Chip since 2012, serving as executive vice president and general manager of its business leadership team. Deutsch was responsible for uniting the agency’s brand and retail marketing capabilities, while also overseeing business development for the agency. In his new role, Deutsch will be responsible for driving the agency’s growth by aligning with new and existing client business challenges. As independently held Blue Chip focuses elevating its own brand visibility within the industry, Deutsch will also be responsible for marketing the agency.
In addition, Blue Chip named Jamie Olson its senior vice president of business leadership. Olson is a twelve-year veteran of Blue Chip, and has served multiple executive leadership roles, while also playing an integral role in business development for the agency. In her new role, Olson will oversee the multiple brand account teams.
Both Deutsch and Olson are credited with helping Blue Chip to win key accounts, including Daisy Brand, B&G Foods, Brown-Forman, McCormick & Co., Inc., and HARIBO.
“Larry and Jamie represent the future of Blue Chip’s strategic growth and client leadership,” said Stanton Kawer, Blue Chip chairman and CEO. “We are honored to have their depth of industry talent and expertise to create sustainable growth for Blue Chip and our client partners.”
Prior to Blue Chip, Deutsch held leadership roles at Ogilvy, Wunderman and Havas, as well as brand marketing and new product development at Kraft Foods and Wrigley. Olson came to Blue Chip in 2006 from FCB.
