Founded in 2003 by the renowned baseball TV and radio host, Ed Randall’s Fans for the Cure is a nonprofit organization that promotes the importance of early detection for prostate cancer. The organization encourages men between 40 and 45 to discuss prostate cancer with their doctors. Fans for the Cure also raises awareness through educational and support seminars, online and printed informational materials and referrals to physicians and cutting-edge research.
Randall’s name is nationally recognized as synonymous to baseball. Acclaimed for his dynamic radio and TV interviews, Randall currently hosts a baseball nostalgia show, “Remember When,” on Saturdays at 8 a.m. on Sirius/ XM Radio. In addition, Randall is the host of Ed Randall’s Talking Baseball, which is in its 16th season on WFAN-Radio in New York, Sundays at 9AM, which is rated #1 in its time slot.
