Oregon Virtual Academy Now Accepting Enrollment for 2018-19 School Year

Online Public Charter School Offers Alternative to Traditional Brick-and-Mortar Education

NORTH BEND, Ore.--()--Oregon Virtual Academy (ORVA), an accredited online public charter school authorized by the North Bend School District, is now accepting enrollment applications for the 2018-19 school year. ORVA serves students in kindergarten through 12th grade across the state of Oregon.

Delivered entirely online, ORVA combines online instruction, rigorous curriculum and the support of state-certified teachers to provide a personalized experience for each student. ORVA students access a robust online curriculum and attend live virtual classes. The school provides a unique approach to learning that helps prepare students for post-graduation college or career success.

ORVA’s rigorous and engaging curriculum includes courses in English/language arts, math, science, history, world languages, art and music, as well as elective and Advanced Placement® courses for high school students. Dual enrollment opportunities to earn college credits are available for qualified high school students in select courses. At ORVA, state-certified teachers monitor student progress while providing professional insight and instruction. Teachers interact with students and families via email, phone, web-based classrooms and online discussions. Teachers also develop an individualized learning plan for each student that is mapped to their individual educational goals.
