MESICK, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Highpoint Virtual Academy of Michigan (HVAM), an accredited, full-time online public school, welcomes students in kindergarten through tenth grade to enroll for the 2018-2019 school year. HVAM is open tuition-free to all students who reside in Michigan. Authorized by Mesick Consolidated Schools, HVAM is adding 10th grade this coming school year, with plans to add one additional grade per school-year to eventually serve students through 12th grade.

“HVAM teachers have given my son a new-found confidence,” says Chantelle Buckner of Detroit, the mother of an HVAM middle school student. “They are attentive to his strengths and needs, encouraging him to participate in the live classes and to do his very best.”
HVAM offers a challenging academic program focused on college preparation. Students take a full course load in the core subjects of math, science, English language arts, history, art and music. Electives include world languages, as well as high school honors courses. HVAM also offers student clubs, in-person field trips and social gatherings to foster a sense of school community.
