Tom Cross Will Explain What We’ve Seen, What We Can Expect and How We Can Prepare for New Cyber Threats

HERNDON, Va.--()--OPAQ Networks, the network security cloud company, today announced that its CTO Tom Cross will participate in an expert panel at the MIT Enterprise Forum Atlanta to discuss cybersecurity developments over the past 12 months and what we can expect in 2018.



Tom Cross is CTO of network security-as-a-service provider OPAQ Networks and an expert in cyber security, cyber conflict, malware and vulnerability research. He is credited with discovering a number of critical vulnerabilities in enterprise software and has written papers on collateral damage in cyber conflict, vulnerability disclosure ethics, security issues in Internet routers, securing wireless LANs and more. Tom was previously Director of Security Research at Lancope and Manager of the IBM Internet Security Systems X-Force Advanced Research team.
