HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The CEOs and founders of seven companies selected as Energy Innovation Pioneers will present at the CERAWeek by IHS Markit executive conference, March 5 – 9, 2018 at the Hilton Americas – Houston.
The Energy Innovation Pioneers program is held annually by business information provider IHS Markit (Nasdaq: INFO) in connection with CERAWeek. The program, now in its 13th year, identifies the most innovative new technologies and disruptive business models across the energy spectrum. Judging criteria has included creativity, feasibility of plan, scalability of technology and leadership team.
This year’s honorees range from hardware-based technologies specific to an energy domain—such as hydrocarbon detection, water analysis, micro-combined cooling heat and power and solar wafer manufacturing—to emerging digital platforms applicable that enhance cybersecurity, enable edge computing and improve customer choice.
During CERAWeek 2018, the Energy Innovation Pioneers will participate in one of two plenary sessions that explore their experience and insights in commercializing new technology:
- Wednesday, March 7 -- 7:30‒8:40 am CST: Increasing resilience by leveraging technology to find new opportunities
- Thursday, March 8 -- 7:30‒8:40 am CST: Harnessing innovation to cut costs & increase consumer choice
In addition, CERAWeek delegates are invited to hear from each chief executive in greater detail during the event’s Pioneer Showcase held in the Pods in the Innovation Agora.
